Corry Evans has just enjoyed a great season for the Reserves, captaining the side as they won the Northern and National league titles.
The 19-year-old is been included in our USA Tour squad and has got some playing time under his belt, much to his delight.
“It has been a great few months for me and I want it to keep going,” said Evans. “I hope I can build on what I have achieved so far and have another successful season. It is nice to have Jonny here as well, but I have been mingling with all the lads throughout. I have already learnt so much from this experience. The way the likes of Scholesy and Giggsy handle themselves on and off the pitch is fantastic and a great example for us. They are players you can learn a lot from and I have enjoyed every minute so far. The tempo in training is always at the highest possible level and the lads always want to win. You see that out on the pitch as well and to be here is just a real privilege.”
