Real Madrid are still yet to make an offer for David de Gea, despite being strongly linked with a move to sign him this summer. With just a year remaining on his contract, there has been the suggestion that if Real Madrid don’t meet the asking price, United are prepared to keep De Gea for another season and allow him to leave for free next summer.
De Gea has spent the past week in Madrid but when interviewed by Cuatro about his future, De Gea had nothing to say, other than he would be in Carrington for the first day of pre-season training on Monday.
