After being photographed in Manchester yesterday for his medical with United, David De Gea has revealed on Twitter why he is in the city.
“Invitado por el MANU para conocer el Club, la ciudad junto a mi familia y presentarme una oferta….”
Which translates as: “Have been invited by MAN U to see the club and the city with my family and to be given an offer….”
It has been suggested that the men with the sheets attempting to shield him from the cameras were there on De Gea’s say so, with him apparently wanting to keep the news quiet.
