Di Maria: United is a fantastic club and the fans are sensational

Over recent weeks, Angel di Maria has been linked with a move to PSG, after a disappointing first season in Manchester with United.

However, the Argentinean has insisted he is determined to prove himself at the club and write himself in to United’s history books.

I’m not happy with my first year in England. I moved here from Real to win titles and this season has been very bad for me. I’m frustrated because I want to do better. The fans in England have not seen the real Di Maria. I know I can offer a better level. This year was not good enough. Adapting to English football is not easy,” Di Maria said. “People told me the first year for a foreigner here is hard. And that’s true. My challenge is not for one year, but to become part of the history of Manchester United. The stadium is unique, the fans sensational – it is a fantastic club. My only frustration is that we haven’t offered the fans our best face every week. My dream at United is still to win the Premier League and Champions League. Rooney is a leader and has spoken many times with me this season. He has helped me so much to learn about the club. Man United is always required to fight for the Premier League – just like it is for Real Madrid or Barcelona in Spain. Next year we want to do more. I think you’ll see that we’ll be there.

Finally,

can we put tthis to bed now? DiMaria has commited to Manchester United, lets back him up now.

Also LVG came otu and said he neeeds to be prepared to play the philosophy game, which means possession without losing the ball, unless you are in the final third. This part will get betetr for DiMaria and the team since we are buying players for positions.

With 2 new midfielders and 2 defenders we will fix this, betetr players, more depth -> easier to make less mistakes, especially in the defense

Also it helps that now DiMaria is not the only one with potential goalthreatening attributes, now we have Depay also, so this means the oppositions have to be wary of Depay and Dimaria, in the best situation we also will have Mata or Januzaj playing as a 10 or in the wings, so this means more trickery.

one thing that irks me is that, there's 2 interviews, LVG's which is important where he always says the player decides and that DiMaria has to adapt to the team and the second one is this one that Scott put for us.

what irks me is that the one where DiMaria has commited to Manchester UNited is nowhere to be seen in the news or anywhere except here or in all the United related websites. This tells us that the ABU is there to get is, cause the headlines have been

"DiMaria has to adapt or he is sold" "dimaria has to change or" "dimaria or" "

but nothing about him commiting to us. so even when there's smoke, remember that for 2 years there has been so much smoke for us that you would think United is on fire, and we all knwo that is a lie.

so don't trust every station and start a riot just becauise a daily fail or whatever posts something, usually they leave things off or twist it., so read carefully for quotes.

Excellent words by Di Maria. He knows he has not performed to his abilities this season and is determined to excel next time around. That's good enough for me.

ADM has my support. I always give new players a 2nd season to prove themselves haha.

Actually I think We as a club, and many EPL clubs, aren't really built for these type of players, we had Veron, Nani, Kagawa, Mata, Anderson, and can't use them properly.

We are more on hard workers and fast players rather than intelligent and skillfull players.

Are you sure its the club that fail to work with those players you mentioned and not vice versa?
Pl requires both inteligence and physique.
Ando was spoiled by injuries and Mata is doing fine even without physical presence.
Kagawa couldn't cut in even with his inteligence and so is Veron
ADM is a different story than any of the rest. We are all awear of his talent but fail in teamwork and loosing ball easily which dosn't fit well in LVG philosophy
