Rio Ferdinand played for half an hour in Tony Carr’s testimonial match at Upton Park tonight.
The United defender, who has been missing for the past three games, got the train down to London at 9am this morning to take part in the game to play for the West Ham Academy All-Stars.
The Guardian has an interesting insight: With Chelsea concentrating on winning the title on Sunday, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole and John Terry were not allowed to play but all three were present at Upton Park.
I mean, it’s not as if United have an important game to concentrate on is it?
