After scoring in the penalty shoot-out and knocking Manchester United now out of the FA Cup, former red Phil Neville has claimed that his brother, Gary Neville, was the first to congratulate him.

“He was the first one to speak to me after the game and he was pleased for me,” he told. “It’s difficult in situations like that because obviously he’s captain of Manchester United and I’m captain of Everton – and we both want our clubs to win. But he’s my brother and my best friend at the end of the day and it was nice to see him after the game. I’m just glad it was Everton’s day. I’ve been lucky enough to play in some wonderful games and that was up there with them. But the realisation now is that we haven’t won anything yet.”
