Manchester United have booked their place in the Europa League final after a 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo, following our 1-0 win away from home.
Former Liverpool striker, Iago Aspas, talked about his hopes before the game to knock us out. Not just for his current side, but for Liverpool too.
Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t to be, with him spotted crying his eyes out at the final whistle.
“It was a great season for Liverpool, I just wish I could have played a bigger part,” he said. “Let’s hope the new lasting memory of me in England is knocking Manchester United out of Europe, for the sake of Celta Vigo, and for the happiness it would bring to Liverpool supporters too.”
