February 14th 2004 – City at home in the Cup
Does it get much better than being drawn against your rivals in the FA Cup? Back in Cristiano Ronaldo’s first season we played City in the 5th Round and our Portuguese teenager only had one Manchester United goal to his name.
Days before the City game we lost 3-2 at home to Boro in the league and our fans were in desperate need of a result against the bluenoses.
Ronnie bagged our third and his first big goal for the club, the first of many!
