Marouane Fellaini has admitted there was a time when he thought he wouldn’t get his move to Manchester United, with the time running out on transfer deadline day and Everton taking their time on accepting our offer.

“With Everton and the Chairman, you never know. Sometimes, I thought there was no chance that I could join United. I so happy when the Chairman accepted the deal,” said Fellaini. “I talked with the manager [Roberto Martinez] because it was a big opportunity for me to join one of the biggest clubs in the world. My objective is to win trophies. I play football for this. With Man United, I have a big chance to win something.”
