I do have a good feeling about tomorrow especially if Rio or Evans pass their fitness tests. But i am not going to make any predictions because Gilkes Oakley will be on my ass.We have to be very careful though.Bricey won't hand us anything.

Love the O'Shea pic. It's true, you do often see him smiling.

O'Shea always smiles but for a strange reason, he doesn't get too excited about scoring against Arsenal!Go figure.

The picture is good, and I don't believe everything the papers write but I ain't pleased with Tevez supposedly saying he wants to join the scousers!

I understand his frustration but if it's true, that's bang out of order.
I agree with Evra saying Tevez wasn't disrespecting the club with his actions in the the picture above, but if he made the comments about the scousers than he is disrespecting the badge!!

RedDevil,

Tevez never said he wanted to join Liverpool. If you don't believe everything the papers write, why believe that? Expect to see him lining up, with Ronnie, for the Red Devils next season.

Negotiations are never made public and football players are skilled with their feet, not their mouths or brains. Besides, the sports press do not do investigative journalism so where could they possibly have got their information?

I think all of this Tevez leaving is being blown all out of proportion by the media. Tevez wants to join Liverpool a day before we play our game in hand??? Mind games by the papers? Stoking the fire because the title race could be over before tea time on Saturday? I think the picture tells us a lot, it looks to me like this will be sorted and Tevez will stay. Ferigie would not be laughing if any of this was true.

Gary Neville does look like he wants to leap out of he's seat and punch Tev though haha.

A quick question for anyone that might know, if we do win the league this season that would put us level on titles with Liverpool, we have won more FA Cups than them, I know they have won more League Cups than us, but surley we have got to be closing in if not taken over as the most successful club in English history. Discounting European Competitions obviously?!

Come on you Reds!!!

CHAMP10NS - If we win the title, domestically we will be equal with Liverpool too.

League Champions: United 18 Liverpool 18
FA Cup - United 11 Liverpool 7
League Cup - United 3 Liverpool 7

As you can see both sides will have won 32 domestic honours each. As for Europe..

European Cups: United 3 Liverpool 5. Hope and pray that Rome will make it 4 for United.
European Cup Winners Cup: United 1 Liverpool 0
UEFA Cup: United 0 Liverpool 3
European Super Cup: United 1 Liverpool 2
World Club Champions: United 2 Liverpool 0

Unfortunately we are slightly behind the vermin with regards to European Honours, but fingers crossed that gap will be closed this year, by hopefully bagging the European Cup, European Super Cup and World Club Championship.

I don't get why the papaers are making a big deal over the Tevez deal. United stated that they will sort out any contract offers in June, when the season's over, yet the papers are pressuring Tevez to question whether he'll get one or not.

I'm sure most United fans are confident that Tevez will stay.

Cheers Kings.

Bit gutting now we didnt put a stronger team out in the FA Cup Semi, then we would have officially been the most successful club in England should we have beaten Chelski, oh well, bring on next season!!!

Has anybody else noticed that we are the only set of supporters who do not count the Charity/Community Shield as a major trophy, I still believe if Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool were in our position, everybody would be claiming they are still on for the Quintuple!!

@ champ10ns + kings- was just thinking about that a short while ago.
i had some scouse git at work chirpin' on (again) about whos still the most successful club in england. i for one wont be rubbing their noses in it, if and when we overtake them. imo its so pathetic to keep bringing this up at a time when we are still the dominant force and winning trophys by the lorryload! lets brag about what weve got now, not what we once did, many years ago......!

Ooh King Eric, high risk, very dangerous. If you're right you must be mystic, but if United lose, we'll know who to blame....I've had accurate prediction dreams (not this season) but my best dream was me playing at Old Trafford with Bobby Charlton and Denis Law (no Best, so I guess I was playing in his place.) Needless to say, I scored a stunner with a cannonball shot from 35 yards.

CHAMP10NS May 12, 2009
I totally agree with you Bossdem, I wont be rubbing it in either as before you know it, it will come back to bite you on the ar@@. But it will be nice not to hear about it from the scousers anymore.

On a different subject, I was reading an article earlier on the relegation dogfight and the piece was whinging on about if we win the title on Saturday, we will put a weaker side out to face Hull on the last day of the season and they could survive due to that. I'm just wondering who do you want to go down? Wouldn't it be nice to be the team that sent Shearer down?

I would love to see Newcastle go that with Shearer at the helm.....
Why would we put out a strong side 3 days before the Champions League final when there is nothing to gain????

JUST about containing myself Wazza..lol

Positives Negatives.....Tmrw morning Wazza.

KingEric...seems to be confident...hope you're right me auld mucker.

As for NEVO...yep he was pissed with tevez's alleged disrespectful behaviour and was pissed at the end of the game when Ronny walked off.

WHY? Cos he's club captain and cos he's probably the most die hard utd fan there is. He is utd through and through...probably more than any player ever. He cares and loves our club sooooooooo much. Hence he wouldnt want any slights on the club. Plus we know he's SAF right hand man.

What a quality pic! I honestly think SAF would love to keep Tevez at the club, as would we all! The only stumbling block, the price. I agree a further £26 million is shocking and I think Tevez himself would agree, the fact of the matter is there are clubs out there who are willingly to pay it and that's the reason I think, sadly, he will leave. His agent nor the people who own him are going to choose sentiment over money, FACT!

Andy Gray would say: "I tell you what. This boy Giles Oakley is stunning.I mean that.Take a bow son".

If we wrap up the title the XI against Hull should be:

Foster-Rafael,Evans,Neville,Fabio-Fletcher,Gibson,Possebon,Nani-Macheda,Welbeck.That eam should be good enough. Why should we sacrifice key players 3 days before Rome?Because some teams left it late?Fair play? How much fair play have we had this season?Anyway, not getting carried away.First order of business,4-6 points in our next 2.

No counting chickens then.Wigan's Kapo believes that Liverpool are better than United. It's up to us to prove him wrong then.I am intrigued as to how SAF thinks of shuffling his squad in the next 2 games.I think he might save Rio for Arsenal but i wonder if players like VDS,Carrick,Evra,O'Shea,Vida and Rooney will play both games.Evra especially will have to play against Valencia and Walcott within 60 hours. And O'Shea will have to deal with Arshavin on Saturday.Crucial decisions.

costas: those players you mentioned will have to play both the games because Fergie & all United players want to wrap up the title on Sat.as long as Park & Rooney are on the wings Valencia, Walcott & Arshavin will find it hard.i ain't give a shit bout Kapo.he plays for them once in blue moon.

CHAMP10NS - mate there are total double standards. When we won the Charity Shield against Chelsea in the 1997/98 season, and failed to win the Premiership, FA Cup or the European Cup, every single bastard in the media said that we finished the season empty handed. But when other clubs win it, they consider that as a major trophy bagged. I don't consider the Charity/Community shield as a trophy. Another thing, when Chelsea won the league cup and Premiership in 2005, prior to the European Cup second leg against Liverpool, the media were talking about them possibly matching our treble feats of 1999! what the fuck!?

Like you, I'm gutted that we didn't play a stronger side in the FA Cup semi-final. I have been a United fan for 29 years now, and grew up watching us win the FA Cup - a competition I have a soft spot for. I think that is definitely an opportunity missed. Saying that, I thought the youngsters were superb, just unlucky. Don't forget, Everton failed to break us down in 120 minutes, which is a huge credit to the lads. If we bag these two trophies, we will be regarded as the greatest side ever. There is no way that any other club in England would match or surpass that.

Kings - Thank you! Someone has finally agreed with me. Walking down Wembley Way after losing the match, I was getting phone call after phone call slagging us off, we got what we deserved for putting kids out etc, in a way I do agree there is nothing worse than getting knocked out and it seems such a long way until the following January and the 3rd round draw! However, the kids were amazing (it wasn't the best match ever) but they held their own against a top 6 side and losing on penalties is no disgrace at all. Which brings me to another point, why do Arsenals kids get all the headlines, our kids (exceptions of Giggsy and Scholsey) won the League Cup this season and surprise surprise they get no recoginition at all.

Giles where is the confidence mate?? we are playing the best football we've played all season, pretty much since we beat porto... we are sweeping everyone aside with ease at the moment. Sooooo confident for tomorrow!! it'll be a strong team no doubt, so i'm gonna go for a 2-0, Ronaldo and Rooney.
i really wanna win tomorrow so im there for the trophy if we beat the gooners... tickets for Hull will be a mission to get hold of!!
