After the last three games between United and Chelsea in the league have been decided by inept officials in the blues’ favour, Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed he is worried that a big decision will cost us again.

United last out on the league by one point last season, after Chelsea beat us home and away thanks to wrong decisions by the ref and linesman.

When asked if he was worried whether history would repeat itself, the manager admitted it had crossed his mind.

“That’s definitely our big fear, to be honest,” said Fergie. “Howard Webb is definitely the best referee in the country. There’s no doubt about that. We just hope it’s our turn for a little bit of luck.”
