Manchester United’s new striker, Javier Hernandez, opened his World Cup account with the opening goal against France for Mexico.
Sir Alex Ferguson was watching and was pleased with the performance from his new signing.
“He did very well,” said Ferguson. “He showed good movement, quick and sees space very well. I was very pleased with his performance.”
