Manchester United recorded one of the best results in our history after coming from 2-0 down in the home leg against PSG to win 3-1 away. The world result we’ve ever recorded at Old Trafford in Europe was 2-0, so the odds were against us, but thanks to two goals from Romelu Lukaku and a late penalty from Marcus Rashford, we have booked our place in the next round of the Champions League.

We have 10 injuries ahead of kick-off and very few people fancied us to get a result. Yet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was always confident and his attitude clearly rubbed off on the players.

Lukaku secured an early lead, just as the manager hoped we would get, before PSG pulled one back. Lukaku put us ahead again, before PSG against equalised.

Then, in injury time, Rashford was cool under pressure and scored from the spot against legendary Gianluigi Buffon to win us the game.

What was even more impressive was the number of academy products who earned us the victory. Rashford, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Mason Greenwood and Tahith Chong were all involved in the 3-1 win.

Eric Cantona was in the stands and joined Sir Alex Ferguson in the dressing room afterwards. Gary Neville interviewed Solskjaer afterwards and revealed that the squad were singing his name.

What a night to be a red.
