Joe Cole has had a fairly disastrous start at new club Liverpool. The man who claimed to be a lifelong Chelsea supporter left the club for the bigger contract, only to get sent off in his début before missing a penalty.
Cole had been linked with a move to Manchester United, but, ahead of our game against Liverpool on Sunday, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that despite contact from his agent, we were never interested.
“We were approached by his agent at one point but we didn’t enter into it at all.”
