Lucky as we are, we’ve seen many a great United game whilst Sir Alex Ferguson has been our manager. He has inspired a style of football that dates back to Sir Matt Busby, which has seen us win in entertaining, and at times, dramatic fashion.
Ferguson has today picked his favourite game in all his years as United manager.
“The one that sticks in my mind was when we were at Tottenham in September 2001 and were 3-0 down at half-time,” said Ferguson. “But then we went on to beat them 5-3. It was such an amazing turaround, and the fans played their part too. It was a great game.”
