Following Rafael Benitez’s claims that Liverpool are the better team and that he never said Ferguson was scared (despite there being video footage of him proving the contrary), Sir Alex Ferguson has responded calmly, insisting he’s quite happy to Benitez to do all the talking.
“He is definitely saying a lot,” said Ferguson. ”But I am happy for him to carry on with it. I have to trust my players. I know they are good enough. I have trusted them for years now. That is why I have picked them. They are a good bunch of lads and we will just carry on the way we always have.”
