It has been announced that former Manchester United midfielder and defender, Phil Neville, has been named as the England women head coach.
He is taking over from Mark Sampson’s whose career ended in shame after his racist treated of Eni Aluko and relationships he’d had with players he was coaching.
Neville’s coaching career to date ranges from him time working under David Moyes at United as well working as assistant manager at Valencia.
His sister, Tracey Neville, is the head coach of England’s netball team.
Best of luck, Phil.
