Well done to Tim Cahill for getting on with the game and to David Moyes for stating in his post match interview that he didn't think either of their shouts for a penalty, were penalties. The abu's on sky were trying to make more of them to make United look "lucky again".

Keane was a monster in that game mate, probably his best in a United shirt. And to think he knew he was out of the final made it more special....

This one was friendly. Unlike the one on Torres! I like Cahill, he's a good lad, Rio and him had a handshake after that.

@wayne

I've heard the rumors about Tevez and Inter. I didn't know that they wanted Sneidjer in exchange. That could happen, although Sneider doesn't exactly strike me as a Toure or Dzeko type of mercenary.

Maybe mate. I don't know how much money he got at Inter as opposed to Real. However, the fact that he prefered to play regulary for Inter rather than sit on Real's bench, showed me that it's not just about the money to him. Of course, if Shity offer him the wage packet that Toure is getting, it may be a different story.

@Costas thought the same thing but like cedars says city would pay him a shit load of money always hope the guy has class and dignity.guess its easy to be pious when the money isn't been offered to us

To be honest I do not give a flying fuck if we sign him or not. I agree with Willie on this one, we need us a box to box midfielder for next season....

hahahaha Rio's new favourite move. If that looks badass, the one he did on Torres looks like he was harassing a helpless lady.

@CedarsDevil, Agreed mate! Let us re-sign Roy Keane. In all honesty though, I think we have creativity from Rooney, Berba, Hernandez, Nani, Valencia and even Carrick. But when we are playing at 10% like some of our away matches this season, you need someone who can do the running from box to box and make the team go forward through sheer energy.

Rooney does that job perfectly. The problem is you cannot expect him to do that and create loads of chances for team mates and score goals. He is not superman (Although some would say he needs to be Superman to alleviate some of the pain he has caused us.)

We'll see who we sign though. The master knows best.

I think Sneijder is on record as saying that the only club to play for in England is United. Players have all the power these days so if we go in for him and he wants to come to Old Trafford then we'll get him. However if Anderson could keep putting in displays like he did yesterday on a more regular basis then we may not be as badly off in the centre of the park as we think. Thought he was outstanding. I've been critical of him in the past but only through sheer frustation because we all know how good he can be. If he could just tap into whatever it is in the brain that makes great players do it week in week out, like Roy Keane for example, then we'd be laughing.

I see Schalke lost at home yesterday against 12th in the table Kaiserslautern. That leaves them 10th in the league 29 points behind the leaders. I know we have to respect all our opponents (unless it's Liverpool) but surely to God we'll be too good for them over two legs.

I loved this moment, along with the strength of Valencia to swat away Baines like he was a fly!

I think the Cahill grab and the Baines charge are perhaps my favourite moments of the match, goal notwithstanding. Valencia just owned Baines. It was hilarious. Was a good physical game too without being dirty or anybody trying to do any damage or get anybody carded, really great to see.
