Max. What you on about ? Rip. Never ever forgotten. As someone said last night we always struggle at ganes near this date. Hopefully this puts everything about our club into context after some of the frankly amusing comments yesyerday because the lads actually lost ONE game. This lot would turn in their graves reading comments from some “fans“. Always remembered.

@max by calling Scott a prick you're suggesting he doesn't care, whether you agree or disagree with what scott's opinions are there's no doubting his love for utd.what do you want a full break down of how it all happened ? why? as fans we all know.the picture is put up so we can all remember and pass our respect, thats all thats needed and you're way out of line on this thread calling scott a prick.

When you lose a loved one the pain may subside with the passing years but the memory will always be there....... And for that all that is needed is a picture to help us remember those loved ones.

Like Scott said on Twitter, imagine if we had never got to see Giggs, Scholes, Beckham, The Nevilles, Keano etc. in their primes. That is exactly what happened. If they were so good at 22, imagine them conquering the world in their prime late 20s. They are gone but will never, ever be forgotten by those who love this club and otherwise. The Flowers of Manchester. RIP Lads!

Typing through the tears. I did see "The Babes" as a kid - remember slipping through a turnstile at Maine Road for the 57 Derby. Remember that the whole of Manchester mourned.

Can only imagine - what they would have become!

Remember we did not die - we got stronger.

I just hope to God the present bunch remember and do not forget the shirt they are so, so priveliged to wear.

REMEMBER THE BABES

Sir Matt Busby

"Resting in Interlaken, Germany was one thing and facing Old Trafford another. When I approached the ground and moved over the bridge along which our supporters had squeezed fifty abreast in there tens of thousands to shout for us I could scarcely bear to look. I knew the ghosts of the babes would still be there, and there they are still, and they will always be there as long as those who saw them still cross the bridge, young, gay, red ghosts on the green grass of Old Trafford."

19. We miss you.
