Hannibal Mejbri’s season-long loan to Birmingham City has been confirmed this afternoon. Subject to league and FA approval, he will be available to make his debut for the club against Norwich City tomorrow night.
Tahith Chong and Teden Mengi, who have played alongside Hannibal in United’s youth teams, spent last season on loan at Birmingham. Speaking to Blues TV, Hannibal revealed he had been told good things.
It is an honour to come and play for this Club. I have heard a lot of good things from my friends who have played here before, so I am ready to come and play for this Club.
Both Chong and Mengi suffered from long-term injuries while on loan but still made managed 30 appearances between them.
Chong’s future for next season has yet to be decided, with him receiving rave reviews early on, while Mengi started his rehabilitation from last season’s injury at Carrington in May.
