Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Marcos Rojo were all in the away end at Anfield to watch Wayne Rooney score a late winner in front of the Kop.
Ander Herrera has reflected on that day and claimed he wants to experience an away game with Manchester United fans one day.
I want to do it also but that would mean I am injured so hopefully I can play as many games as possible. Of course, it was very funny, to see Phil Jones on TV. So, so funny! We were joking in the dressing room about it. But it meant we were all involved – we all want the best for the team when you play and when you don’t play, we are a good group. We want to make our fans proud and make this club the best again so I was very happy to see Michael, Jonah and Marcos with our fans celebrating that goal. Fantastic.
