Muller , ozil and even khedira were not that famous or were not that much in demand but they all became famous after the 2010 WC. I am not disputing you but is m just reply you to the thing you said about depay. You said he could be just a flash in the pan when in truth he also had a good season for psv. He also scored 12 goals and don't forget he is just 20. Just don't understand your double standard towards depay.

Thers no chance the club will spend £60million on a player that left for nothing and continually bad mouthed the club, I think Fletch will go before Carrick, I expect Fletch and Cleverley to leave and carrick to stay as a squad player, I worry that Ashley young is here to the end of his contract, no way will he take a pay cut and the things he has put on twitter are hardly the sign of a player who is going to leave, unfortunatly we are stuck with him for the foreseaable future

Im not showing double standards mate, I admit I dont really watch dutch football, and I wasnt really aware of thwe player and if hes had a good season then thats fair enough mate, not disputiong you pal, I would judge him on what hes done for PSV and if hes doing the buisness for them then I would be all for signing him mate

Says who Tommy? If the club wants him, they'll go get him. I'm sure the prospect of seeing him in a blue shirt playing alongside John Terry will make them consider at least putting up an offer. I know many won't agree (and thats fine) but we should never have let him go in the first place. He is worth it and more. I see we're giving yet another over hyped player (talented no doubt) well over hundred grand a week, just over half of Wayne Rooney pay package. See no harm in trying to entice Pogba back.
Not sure i'm with you on the Young front, if we do get another winger, i think he's off, barring that, he'll be stuck on the bench for a long time. Not sure he'll like that and they won't be a lack of clubs looking for his services. That paycheck he's not willing to let go of will eventually happen. When you're recording piss poor number of appearances the head starts to think differently.

Pogbas a good player, I should know I see him play for the academy sides at United for a couple of years, however, I dont think hes anywhere near a £60million player and as such I wouldnt be payong that and i know the club wont pay that

@Tommy....Jon Flanagans dad haha....

Vidal and Sanchez would be a muppet dream. If United are serious about things then there is no reason why we can't get one or both.

It's been said that they want to play together at club level so what are we waiting for and we have a vacant no 7 and 9 that Sanchez wears for club 9 and country 7.... I think him getting 7 for club and country could be an added factor and launch a great marketing platform for him and United along with our Chilean wine partner Casillea del Diablo Concha y Toro makers of that ad about a legend arriving.....haha that was made around when Sanchez moved to Barca and it convinced me he was coming here :)

Looking forward to seeing Oranje again. Either way one of our players will be coming home. Being selfish I want holland out but am loving Van Gaal twisting the ABUs blood.

In Mata, Herrera, Nani, RvP, Rooney, Zaha, Januzaj, Kagawa we ve got the technically gifted players for a free flowing style. Plus we ve got Welbeck, who is great off the ball, and Chicharito and Valencia. Some of the above players are young and LvG can improve them.
So, we ve got great attacking talents in our team. From dribblers, to goal poachers, all around attackers etc. Even Fellaini can be used as a target man near the lone striker. We 've got many choices. Even if we sell some of them we still have great choices.

Maybe it's time to rebuild the defense and the midfield.
I believe we need the defensive midfielder and the defender and then, if a fifth player comes in, he should be a right full back, as a backup for the injury prone Brazilian.

RVP vs Chico, no surprise RVP returns to the starting 11 after his suspention but Chico remains on the bench despite scoring as a sub, he will prob come on after 60mins like he has the last 3 games, Good luck to both involved and remain injury free lads

I am reall loving the attitude of LVG. He said that he doesn't need any holiday and will be joining united straight after the WC. This is the commitment we want. I thought last season we did the stupidity of not asking moyes to start the job from June itself. We were whiling a way our time in the month of June. Is till think he must be having a regular chat with giggsy.

Your opinion mate, much rather pay his release fee than pay what we did for Shaw.

Fuck Pogba don't want that cunt anywhere near a Red shirt tossing it off in the Italian league which is presently one of the worst leagues in Europe is different to the Prem, its become the European MLS.Pogba isn't worth 30 mill let alone 60 mill all he's done is slag off the club, fuck him

A LB for the next 10 - 15 years mate, probably one of the best teenagers I have ever seen, its a no brainer, £30million will be one of the best investments this club has ever made, I am convinced of that. Pogba whilst being a good player has disrespected this club too many times im affraid and like Wayne said hes been playing in Italy, I wouldnt value any player that plays in Seria a at the £60million mark, its just too easy a league, their is no saying he would be doing similar things in England, spain or germany

Pogba? No way. What has he done for Juve to warrant £60m? Scored 9 goals and he is worth that? If thats the case Vidal should be worth £120m yeah? Since he scored 18. As it is now, Pogba is still just an above average player that has proven nothing yet in a less than tough league

Don't want Pogba anywhere near Old Trafford, that guy is a walking big ego and getting him back will just double his ego

people are going a bit over board with their valuations here. my opinion pogba is available for £40 million, this £60 million valuation is paper talk and aparently chelsea are looking to pay it .. good luck with that with FFP about.

also i find it shocking people are saying players like nigel de jong are a 'perfect appointment' for manchester united. NIGEL DE JONG?! PERFECT?! if you want to celebrate mediocrity then i suggest you support someone mid table. the only way i will be fine with nigel de jong being on the wage bill at manchester united is if he is the boot polisher! he wore the blue of city, he better not ever be seen in a manchester united kit!

@Dan Young

I fail to see what De Jong being an ex city player has to do with anything, Its not exactly the scousers. You do realise that one of the finest players we have ever had Eric Cantana and a £30million Rio Ferdinand came from an even bigger rival in leeds united right?

Dan Young June 29, 2014
yes i am very aware with that but me saying he also wore the blue of city was just an added reason why i didnt want to see him in a united shirt. his ability is the main reason.

also de jong was sold by city cause they didnt think he was good enough for them anymore, in other words we are paying out to get city rejects. buying rio and cantona is completely different cause we bought them direct from the rival showing them whos the bigger club as we can take their best player anytime we want.

we took the piss when they took hargreaves in and that was on a free transfer. if it is seen as a 'perfect addition' for us to actually pay out for a city reject then we really have fallen!

Soooooo, Pogba can't play for the next 10-15 years. I have to say i'm a bit surprised by the double standards on here. Its fine and dandy paying 30 million and over a 100k in wages (reported to be 160k a week) for a player who's never played in Europe and has all of 3 caps to his name but paying for a quality MF with bags of talent (not over hyped talent mind you) is not worth it ?
I know we wont go for him but its a beat we missed. You'll all see.
Pogba ran his mouth, i agree but he's not a meek one and he truly believed it was his time here, we didn't respond and we could have. I mean how do you explain the ridiculous contract we are giving shaw or the one someone like Young receives

Marq

Thanks for the laughs, its been a pretty drab day, your comments just made it a little bit okay. What has he done indeed?

Pogba would never stay anywhere for 10 - 15 years, him and his agent are money motivated and 60million for a player who wont stay long, disrespects the club and plays in a piss poor league would be very bad buisness

De jong was let go to make room for Yaya and a partner
He is no reject, he's vital to what Holland are doing now. I'd take him for a year or two. I too believe the Pogba valuation to be a bit steep, anywhere between 30 - 40 sounds about right. Then again Gareth Bale was sold for 100 million or what was it. That was a ridiculous transfer, he shouldn't have cost anywhere close to Ronaldos fee. 50 million tops

Haha and you're so sure Shaw will ? granted the likely hood of shaw committing long term is greater but that doesn't mean we won't be snooping around another LB in the event he doesn't quite live up to the billing.
Its not as if we haven't heard cries for Rafa to be moved on or for someone else to come in as first choice RB

Plus he never disrespected the club. he had a few words to say about SAF not believing in him but he's never said a bad word about MUFC

Pogba has the rent boy mentality it was his attitude not his lack of skill that got him shipped out in the first place
He'll more than likely end up in France tossing it off in a shit league making buckets of money
