During England’s 8-0 win over San Marino last night, fans in the stands started chanting “Rio Ferdinand fuck off”.
England manager, Roy Hodgson, was asked about the chanting but refused to criticise them.
“Of course I heard it. I’m not deaf. But I’ve absolutely no comment to make on it.”
Just when you think Hodgson couldn’t be any more spineless…
