If only he'd stayed fit for us, think how much more we might have won. He's a great player and I'm glad he picked up a couple of medals with United. I'm also glad he won't be playing against us! I wish him well in all other aspects of his career.

Giles - IF LouisLouisHaHa had stayed fit then there would have been money to purchase Michael Essien - and no need for Carlitos or Berbatov.

Someone wrote in yesterday on the GuardianBlog that Rooney/Ronaldo were at their best when they were teamed with a fit Saha in 2006. Can't argue with that - Rooney needs a head-man to play off for us to see the best from him 'cos he's a classic # 10, not a # 9.

Denton Davey, I agree with you, Saha gave forward movement and thrust through the middle like no-one else, creating the space for Rooney etc . Saha could also run the wings, dragging defenders with him, creating space in a different way. He's got a mighty shot on him too. He got a cracker against Chelsea, curving it in at pace from the edge of the box, with a minimum of backlift. Wish we had him now tonight...

What about that goal in the 05-06 season I think when we were chasing Chelski, it was at Bolton and he bent it into the far post with his left foot. It was a fantastic finish

fergie might go for 4-3-3 and play carrick and anderson holding with giggsy further forward through the middle
and then Berbatov up top with rooney and ronny flanking him
see if giggys can torture porto like he did chelsea when he played thru middle

This system is not looking good for one reason.In order to boost our midfield he might play Giggs as the 3rd midfielder and move Rooney to the left.Wayne must not play on the left in this game.No way!

not sure i agree
I think the team flexible enough to go 4-4-2 if required
but we could start 4-3-3 to take the sting out of them.
I reckon i'd like them to start 4-3-3

made of bolsa wood! but i still think he'd have been brilliant for united had he stayed fit. good result for us if he's not playin sunday! always worry when united old boys play against us! they wanna prove a point and saha would be no different. hope its not one of them 24 hour bugs lol

Saha was your choice to power ManU instead of Ruud....as I said then Saha is mentally and physically fragile and would never fit in for the TEAM. You disagreed and proclaimed he was the better player.....What say you now Red?
