Manchester United lost 2-1 to Basel in the UEFA Youth League game this evening, with Angel Gomes pulling a goal back after we had gone 2-0 down.

This season, in the UEFA Youth League, Angel Gomes has played 304 minutes of football and has racked up two goals and two assists in that time, working out a goal or assist every 76 minutes on the field.

Even more impressive that that, when going back start of the 2016-17 campaign, in both the U18 Premier League and UEFA Youth League, he has made 27 appearances (2183 minutes) and has managed 17 goals and eight assists. This works out at a goal or assist every 83.7 minutes.
