Ok Scott. But i feel we should focus solely on United rather than consoling ourself with the disappointments of our rivals bad results.We arent doing well enough which clearly is an area of concern.Liverpool are shite but we should be looking at Chelsea in the League and the likes of Real and Barca in the Champions League. That should be our target, to upstage them.

Having a go at one of our rivals every time we have a bad result will and should not hide our disappointing performances.We should focus on why we have been so poor this season than laugh at the dippers.By now we all know they are shite and completely useless

What has been lost amongst the general disappointment is the fact that Man United almost at full strength demolished Wigan. I think that we are back to Season 06-07. We have a very good first XI and a few good sibstitutes. In my opinion, a United team consisting of VDS,Vidic,Evans(not too hopeful on Rio),Evra,Valencia,Carrick,Fletcher,Giggs and Rooney will have agreat chance of winning the league. And that should be our main focus for now. As far as the Ch.League goes, I don't know. Lets go as far as we can. The one good thing from yesterday is that we won't have FA cup games(and probably replays) to worry about.

mhihrh - I'm not consoling myself with Liverpool's results. I'm consoling myself with not being scouse.

I'm not laughing at LFC, I'm not poking fun at LFC, I'm not suggesting that because LFC are 7th in the league we should feel better about being knocked out by Leedscum in the Cup... I'm saying it could be worse, I could be scouse. However bad things get on the pitch, at least I'm not a dirty rat munching scouser.

Not even scouse difficulties can cheer me up today. Their dismal season is of no consolence to me.

Our displays this season (bar few exeptions) have been utterly dissapointing and unaxeptable.

If the lads give their best but loose for whatever reason, one cannot complain. But performances in yesterdays defeat and the one against the dippers and some other matches are simply unforgivable.

I think that we do need another good goalkeeper, a centre back and a creative attacking middfielder.

Utd are showing an uncharecteristic inconsistency this season and we are lucky our rivals arent any better.This is turning out to be a sort of a season where a team which goes on to win 7-8 games in a row will win the league

Scott - I like to joke as much as anyone on here but it is important to remember that over 15,000 scouse families will actually be eating rats throughout these cold winter months huddled up together in their council houses - pretending to share bodyheat but trying to steal from each others pockets.
Dozens will be electrocuted whilst trying to "fiddle the leccy" whilst others will only be able to heat smack spoons with lighters.
Hundreds more will have to make do stealing goods at only half their usual value during the January sales.
It is important to remember that scousers have almost 78% DNA in common with Humans and after Apes they are our closet relatives - FACT.

You may find the fact scousers only source of nutrition is rat meat and rat anus and that they live in squalor with thieves and orange coloured annoying bitches for comfort, this is not something to simply laugh at.

It is something to double up and piss yourself at.

It can always be worse......much,much,much worse.

Bad day at the office yesterday all round. Hate to say it but it looks like Nev is finished playing as i think the legs have gone and have done all season. Berbatov needs a good hard kick up the ars* as well, so frustrating as the guy is so talented. Take heart comrades, all this will be a distant memory when we knock the blue noses out with whatever team we put out. The lads at the very least owe us a whole hearted performance after yesterdays shower of sh*t. Keep the faith

you're right it could've been much worse. about yesterday's game i was very disappointed and although some people on this site say berba is shite he is miles ahead better than tevez in terms of technique and i'm glad we got to see the back of that argie mercenary! fact is berba is world class and anyone who'll try and disagree with me knows nothing about football! the thing is he needs to play his best position and then we'll definately see the very best of him. i mean tevez would never in his wildest dreams pull off a world class assist like berba did last season against west ham at OT. we need to bounce back and i'm confident we will against shitty. another thing i don't understand why people keep on slating welbeck i mean the lad is 19 give him a break already! i was on the site yesterday could'nt comment but i was shocked at the majority of comments especially about berba. i think in the summer we have to spend and i would like to see a midfielder who goes by the name of Yoann Gourcuff the guy is world class! and possibly Chamakh and Di Maria and Simon Kjaer if vida leaves otherwise i think it was an awful display and we should start with fletch and carrick against shitty cos when we have those 2 we look like world beaters!
Roll on shitty! a BACKLASH beckons!:-)

Curly Hair, us signing Gourcouff, Chamakh, Di Maria and Kjaer sounds like a plan. However, those kind of signings don't represent good "value" apparently so you're going to have to make do with Obertan, Owen and Diouf.
