One of the few highlights of last season was tying Adnan Januzaj to the club with a lengthy contract. With just one year left on his deal, he could have left the club this summer on a free, just like Paul Pogba did a few years earlier.
United weren’t playing well and David Moyes wasn’t inspiring much confidence in the team, but Januzaj wanted to stay at the club, and even turned down more money from PSG.
Januzaj’s loyalty to the club has now been rewarded with United finally bringing in a world class manager to hopefully change the fortune of the club, much to the delight of our youngster.
“I feel very happy because he is a great manager, he won a lot and I am looking forward to working with him,” said Januzaj. “I think we’re going to have a great future ahead so I am looking forward to it.”
