Keegan FergusonUnited fans will always have fond memories of Kevin Keegan following his loss of bottle as we came back from 14 points behind against his Newcastle side to win the league in 1996.

The Sky Sports interview he gave, ranting about Ferguson, losing the plot as he shouted, “I’ll just love it if we beat them, love it!” is something we mock whenever we can. It was a truly great time to be a red, with our youth team products proving their worth and Eric Cantona returning from suspension.

Keegan’s record against Sir Alex Ferguson’s team fairs rather well though, surprisingly, with him handing out a couple drubbings when in charge of both Newcastle and City. They battered us 5-0 at St James’ the season after we pinched the league from their clutches, as well as his 4-1 on derby day in 2004.
