Following United’s victory against Chelsea in the European Cup final last week, work has begun on the statue to honour George Best, Denis Law and Sir Bobby Charlton, who won the first European Cup with United in 1968.

So far, only the stand has been constructed, but later in the week, the final statue is set to be revealed.

Stalls with Moscow merchandise are up around the grounds, with fans just milling around, wanting to be close to their spiritual home following this incredible season. The decision to not having a celebratory parade has left us all with a sense of unfinished business. So what better way to spend our afternoons than wandering around Old Trafford, shelling out £6 for a Double t-shirt, and wishing the summer away.
