Anders Lindegaard says he sees David de Gea as a co-worker, rather than someone who he believes is above or below him in rank.
Lindegaard has been preferred to De Gea since Fulham at home although there is the possibility the Spaniard may return to the starting XI for Galatasaray tomorrow.
“At this point, I see David’s and my roles as co-workers rather than No 1 and No 2,” he said. “He has his strengths and I have mine and the gaffer is world class at picking the right teams and I trust in that and I accept his decision. Whether I am playing or not is still a very open question because every time you play for United it is an exam. It doesn’t matter whether it is Champions League, Premier League or a training match. That is how it is.”
