Maybe it's just me, but this is the second time Sir Alex has subbed in Park when United was playing well and it went downhill. Last time they were up at Everton I think. He runs a lot but doesn't do anything, and totally overcommitted on the goal. Just can't help thinking for another million pounds VanderVaart would be nicer to have than Bebe.

Nani's corner taking ability is fucking nil..everytime to the man at the near post will not work..O'shea tried to flick it on a hundred times but people like Berba and Vida are waiting in the middle and are not made use of..very very disappointing in the end..thank heavens for Owen..Macheda didnt do shit except set up berba with a decent back heal..should of taken the oppurtunity to trail chelski by one..

Look at the end of the day it is two points dropped and obvious defensive issues. But Bolton away was never going to be a stroll in the park. Owen Coyle has them organised and difficult to play against. It's not a disaster it could be one point gained come the end of the season so enough of the bloody doom and gloom for fuck sake.

positive: we didn't loose. 3 points behind chelsea and knowing they play Arsenal next week means
we could be level. or 1 point behnd or even 6 points behind. i'm hoping united will be at least level or a point
behind.
but between now and next week, SAF needs to address the defence. is Rio fit? if so, play him. Evans
i think will become a good player, and the only way he can become a good CB is by playing in these types of games. this is the first season i think where Evans is considered an automatic first choice CB. as SAF can no longer depend upon the fitness of Rio. Evans is learning and still developing, fans love to get on players backs when they play poorly or make a mistake. Especially the young players. give these guys a break.
i see this as a point gained, the other two away fixtures Everton and Fulham were points lost.

and remember we're still undefeated, so let's not go over the top. yes i hope and expect United to win EVERY GAME, but football is not like that. we have to accept sometimes, we'll loose or even draw when we should have won. but at the end of the day , United generally come up top.

Indeed. I'd say that some of our players were still stuck on last Sunday. For example, Berbs didn;t have a good game. EVeryone knows I like him and I don't expect him to get anothee hat trick, but he could have done better imo.

"Too many average players like Evans and O’shea in the team. They are good squad members, but we’re becoming inconsistent. Why do we still rely so heavily on Giggs and Scholes??? Another problem."

Why the fuck is O'Shea starting every fucking game, hes a good utility squad player but he isnt a first teamer!! Play fucking Rafael for fuck sake and drop fucking Evans!! and give Smalling a run if Rio isnt fit!! Evans thinks he's made it and his performance is dipping beyond shite!! MAKE SOME FUCKING CHANGES SAF!! and I never thought I would say this but give Owen some fucking games if he's scoring goals for fuck sake!!

We will get fucking dicked by Valencia if we dont get this sorted out!! Shocking, some serious wholesale changes to the team and then the fucking squad if they can't raise there game before Jan.

On current form Owen has to be starting ahead of rooney, another disappointing result but we certainly didnt deserve to win. What the hell is up with Rio? I thought he was back from injury, evans is looking too suspect at the moment and O'shea I'm sorry shouldnt be starting every week. I'd even prefer Wes too start at RB and why no Rafael? Another missed opportunity, we've got to stop this. Well at least we didnt lose. Hope Mickey starts in midweek, he certainly deserves to more than Wayne

This Unfucking believable. Our players looked really exhausted/bored. I dunno what it was but seemed like many lacked the passion which they usually play with. Its pretty depressing.

Costas - well if we going to have a DM we may have to drop scholes or fletcher. For me the real problems are oshea and evans playing. I said this yesterday evans should have been dropped especially the way smallen looks so much more composed of bringing the ball from defence and his height in the air gives united that extra dimension. midfield and upfront are ok. it is defence where the problems lie.

christ we leaked goals with keane scholes beckham and giggs in they're prime in the midfield, so the myth giggs and scholes age are the problem is a complete non-starter.

Suddenly the Valencia and Sunderland away games seem ominous. I'd gladly take a draw in the first and a win in the latter.

Unbelievable!!just unbelievable.Park offered absolutely nothing today. All I seem to remember him do is get the ball and then get shoved off it way too easily.Evans kept getting bullied time and again. He is by no means a small lad,so his utter ineptness in the air is just baffling.Oshea offered nothing going forward and wasn't any good at defending either today.Rooney on current form should be behind both Macheda and Owen.If Owen still isn't starting games after this then he should just realise that he'll never start games at united except for the Carling cup and the dead rubbers in the champions league.
Towards the end scholes was being made to cover way too much ground. Its really worrying how heavily we are relying on scholes and giggs.

If Rio isn't fit (will he ever be?) for the next game give smalling a chance. We have all these promising pacey players like Obertan, The da Silvas, Chicha etc but still we play O'shea and Park (horrible for their second). When has Fergie had enough? I certainly have had. We just hoofed the ball in the last 15 minutes and had like 2 attacks. Nobody can blame Berbatov for today, no one. Nani MOTM.

Last but certainly not least: Will the real Wayne Rooney please stand up?

That's where the problems start mate. Evans gets the blame, but leaving your defenders 1 v 1 ALL the time is lunacy. Scholes is not a midfield destroyer and Fletcher spends more time in the latter half of the pitch all the time.

I'll say this. Evans could do with a break from all this. Is Smalling too green? Is Rio a bit part player now? There's Wes Brown ffs. He is not a crappy central defender. Or right back for that matter.

exactly mate!! I just don't understand why are we not playing like we know we can? We can play with urgency when we are down with so little time remaining....why can't we play with more zest and bite and urgency?? If we play like that teams would not be able to gain confidence and attack us like they do..but when we play like fucking lazy bastards out to try and look cool on the ball...we falter big time...taking it easy and playing with urgency, zipping the ball around use to be our forte....but this season..we seem to look out of sorts..i am just so livid...seriously..i feel like walking intot he dressing room and fucking giving them a kick up their butts...which i know i can't do..;)..haha

Those subs is what let us down does anyone agree?
I know its easy to say that after but i couldn't see how park was gonna contribute then we pull off a centre midfield player for a owen and now we practically playin with one midfield player really stupid that!
For owen we could have taken of o'shite and good 3-4-3 instead of lose out in midfield
At 2 all we would have won it if we have 2 cm and not just scholes and fuckin park

my defenders I would choose are?
VDS
rafeal brown de laat ferdinand vidic smallen evra fabio

these guys are ahead of oshea and evans. fergie should look to pick 4 from this 8 I named that we have that can play in defence.

PPL say oshea and evans are scapegoats but it comes to a point when these 2 are seen not marking they're player tightly we always come undone. at one point evans was so far away from vidic davies had a huge gaping hole of space that he could have tested VDS or at worse case scored another goal.

You can look at it like this. We lost away to Fulham and Everton last year. Got 2 points morethan last year with those games.

Won at Bolton last year dropped 2 points today. All in all same amount of points.

Also games like Sunderland at home which we drew we will surely win. And we'll definetely take at least 2 points from Chelsea.

Don't blame Park, we played only 3 in midfield. He was pretty much in a limbo state. He had to cover for Scholes as he was always late catching up every time Bolton launched a counter attack and at the same time he had to help moving the team forward.

Costas - vidic and evra how many times did they had to cover evans and oshea's rear end. the set piece we cannot blame scholes or fletcher there, evans should be around knight more and looking to attack the ball not look all afraid. Yes evra should be by the post more which was a mistake, but you can see the quality and quantity evans and oshea are, and the quality vidic and evra are. For me they are costing united goals

If Giggsy's injured Rooney should be shunted out to the flank like he was a couple of years ago to make room for Owen with Hernandez as first choice back up. Wazza simply isn't a threat right now. His last touch of the game epitomised his state of mind right now: a lay off when the Rooney of last season would've swivelled and shot.

Our defence right now isn't upto scratch and the question has to be asked how many bad games certain players can have before they're dropped. Vidic is not the leader he needs to be. Too often players are caught napping and as the skipper its his duty to keep them alert. Vida may be hard but he simply doesn't have the authority of a Steve Bruce or at least he hasn't shown that he has it. O'Shea should be dropped, Evans needs a rest.

Not good enough. But at least we haven't lost...

but I could not believe the gaping hole I saw at centre half, bolton were going for a throw and evans and vidic the gap they between them was so gigantic it was scary.

the irony is the result was a good one for united because we were the titanic today

Don't know mate. I think the glass is viewed half empty on the 2 Johns. Evra is just as much to blame as Evans is for that first goal. Just like Carrick and Rafael were equally responsible when Ledley King scored at OT. As for the 2nd, it's a counter from a corner. You are always at a handicapr defenging those.

Vidic has been ok this season, but Evra hasn't done much covering for the rest. He has been responsible for 3 goals in these 3 away games...

Fair argument in regards to Evans, but I bet we would have something different to say if we conceded a third goal from his mistake. He was so slow today caught once but could have been three if he wasn't that lucky.

We talked about this didn't we, this is exactly the reason why we kept losing points. Today he might be lucky, but the next game against Sunderland with Bent and his physical prowess, he better get a hold of himself if we are to have a solid defense.

As for the hole, it's Vidic's job as captain and as a more senior defender to instruct Evans where he should be standing...

Not saying he had a good game either. He picked himself up after the goal, but in the second half where the game became end to end, he looked out of sorts. The problem here is what options we have. Rio is not dependable anymore. Smalling is probably still protected. So we either have Evans or Brown partnering Vidic. I am not losing faith in Jonny, but I think it's time Wes got a shot...

However, if our entire team doesn't start functioning properly again, our defence will always be at a disadvantage.

Looking at our next fixtures makes me even more worried. We have Sunderland and Stoke away, not after each other but these are two teams that can also get something out of the game if we dont turn up. Our away form has been poor. We cant entirely blame our defense for conceding all those goals. Its partly the midfield too. Theres a huge gap between our mid and defense. Fletcher hasnt started the season well. His touch and passing havent been the best. Also his tracking back isnt at all helpful, he doesnt get close enough and allows them to pass the ball, the same could be said for Evra. These two players both played a key role in our title hunt last season, we need them to start performing.

Now, Evans is an inexperience CB he is still young. OSHEA on the other hand is just a liability. He was never great but was quite good at giving us options at the back. But why is he starting regularly these days? He offers nothing going forward and no help at the back. He is often caught ball watching and is very slow with his approach. Not good enough. Harsh, but true. He shouldnt be starting. Where's Wes?

Park is constantly played out of position, so he really cant be blamed. I still dont understand why he was brought on today though. I mean Anderson would have been more useful. He is better at tracking back and would have allowed Scholes and Fletcher to go forward with more freedom.

We weren't horrible, but we also werent as good as I hoped. Two more points dropped.

Must do better.

The only good thing till now is we have not lost...we have got to buck up or face the fucking consequences when we meet the big teams!!..Our defence is in fucking shambles...the team looks like they are just not interested and lacking passion...

Also, they are mostly late to every ball...allowing bolton to get in quicker...are they not fucking up to speed with what has happened at fulham and everton and even at home to the fucking vermin scouse bastards?? The players should do less talking before matches...they should save that energy for the game...we loyal fans follow them every week without missing a match....defend them from all other club fans who despise our team....and this is how they repay us..fucking bollocks...

Costas - well when we have won titles evra has always driven forward, he has been another source of pace in attack. We had brown ferdinand vidic fletcher carrick anderson always there to stop the counter. The problem is, oshea is awful in possession and he gives it away allot. Evans just does not dominate in the air, he is getting caught out when he has the ball and he seems to be getting overrun when anyone closes him down and he seems to be short of pace.

There is so much any defender can do, vidic is not the one man defence it is give and take. Evans should be experience enough to know when to position himself he is not. Scapegoat is being generous to evans when he is not doing his job

Evans has been terrible, I agree, but let's cut him some slack, shall we? The lad is only 22 and he will get better.

What I can't understand is why the gaffer is still sticking with him despite the options he has at his disposal. What we need right now is experience- if Rio isn't fit, I'd rather see Wes starting in the centre of defence at the Stadium of Light next weekend.

I just want to add a few things here, while it's true I have things against Evans but I would love to be proved wrong (please prove me wrong Evans.. pretty please).. we got draw because collectively we were poor. You gotta give Bolton the credit they deserve.. the second goal was a sublime movement by Petrov and ended with a goal courtesy of Fletcher's deflection.
