Thats exactly what I was saying yesterday, especially when he also drags out Liverpool legends as character witnesses. Trials for famous people popular in a city should be held elsewhere to ensure its on the evidence and not their star power. Anywhere else I Gerrard would have been found guilty without doubt as his evidence for self defence is paper thin
