from now on I really will forgive Rooney everything, he's a beast, and he can ask as many transfer reqeuests as he wants, because he's probably right of asking new reqruiments for the team to that middle of the park!!!

GIVE ROONEY AN IMPROVED CONTRACT ALREADY.

CMON REDS!!!!!!!!!!!

When level at the half this year we have failed to win. We must change that now! Evans had TWO mistakes on that last Hull goal. We must dominate proceedings from here on and keep hull on their back foot.

The Rooney goal....WOW!

Mike Oliver had a good game. Valencia was extremely foolish.

Thank God... 2-3.... I don't know how our starter will look like vs Norwich, as our defense is really thin, Valencia really really help us there, 2 yellow cards...

Guess Moyes has no chance but to give Fabio a chance...but as we all know how he is..he'll probably stuff Smalling there and we'll be back to the boring wing play..Imagine Young and Smalling on the right.

Thank god we didnt concede late goal again. Much needed 3 points. Our squad is crooked at the moment. Glad Fletch and Carrick are back. Now lets hope RVP returns ASAP. Kagawa should play now. De gea made a fine save at the end. Now lets hope our rivals drop points.

Roll on to Norwich

We won the game that what matters at the end of the day, but what a mediocre performance. I have no idea how we leveled the game let alone won it.

What a stupid way to get a red card. Did he forget that we have a tough week ahead? One game suspension after his first yellow was unavoidable, but missing a few games because of a stupidity like this?

And this game proves how mediocre Cleverly is at this state. He has to improve and he has to do it fast!

I also don't understand why acidic on the bench unless Moyes saves him for the Saturday game. But it looks like our defense requires some leadership right now, and I don't see both Evans and Smailing could provide one.

I think Moyes is finally finding his feat. He is more in touch line and giving commands. I liked the way he didnt even look at valencia or Patted him. 2 months ago he would have done that but now he is understanding if he has to succeed here he needs to be the BOSS. In last few weeks he has shown he can be our boss. Even the commentators said United are in safe hands. Moyes is no nonsense guy. He is full of discipline and honesty. He just needs things to go his way and now it is. This winter transfer will be imprtant for him. Let us see how he fairs.

Overall I am pleased with Moyes. I want him to be successful here at United. Great work Boys

Couple of lucky moments in the game for us (when they hit the crossbar and the OG) but at the same time, their first goal was never a corner and their second was just fucking ridiculous, deflections galore to get past de gea. Our response was very good.

They put the same pressure on Liverpool as they did us, and Liverpool cracked and lost 3-1, so I won't criticize as much as I usually would. Valencia really put a downer on it for me today though. He might have been frustrated by the decision but when ur already on a yellow you just can't fucking do that.

But ye, whatever way they come they come. This day last year it took a late hernandez goal at OT to beat Newcastle 4-3..... would like a more calm boxing day next year please...

Anyway, needed the 3 points and we got em.

I think you are very harsh on Tom. He has improved a lot in last few games. Yes he still needs to command the Midfield more but its not that easy in a 2 man midfield. I can bet Tom would be very useful in a 3 man midfield. I think we fans dont give where credit is due, Both Danny and Tom have done pretty well in last 3 odd games. Its the consistency that will be important now. I hope welbeck doesnt forgot to score now. He needs to be in score sheet consistently,

Result never in doubt for me, even after abysmal defending put us 2 down, not to belittle Hull in any way who were terrific and fought till the end, glad to hear the final whistle at a ground that has already taken some scalps his season and is a difficult place to get a result.
3 points is all that matters and what is proven at this time of year is just that! the points not the performance, they will be shocks to come for the teams above us this xmas period as always is the case, and the teams above will now be looking over their shoulders seeing United creep up the table and fearing us as we will continue to improve!

@ Ash

Hope it was a Happy Christmas. Cleverley dominate...I would love to see that.

@ Natalie

Excellent point. Many will not speak it , but they will be looking at us climb the table with some consternation.

THREE POINTS. It was ugly but I will happily claim it. I could hardly watch the last few minutes. I thought we would concede late.

Ash:
You are right, I am harsh but I can't help it. He has not changed much since he returned from Wigan except for those few performances he had with Anderson -then he got injured. And that was a few years ago. He is not a bad player at all, but if he is here to fill the gap Scholes left than he has a huge mountain to climb. But at this stage of the game he is probably one of a better players we have and as much as I want Powell to gain more more advantage while loaned, I don't mind Moyes calling him back in January.
