While it has been thoroughly entertaining to watch us pass the ball from defender to defender and sometimes all the way down to DDG as a consequence of Shaktar pressing high (like any other team who has spotted that glaring weakness of ours) I do have to say that watching Young waste chance after chance all the while contributing fuck all to our team has really made me realize what SAF saw in that turd that made him pay £18m for his services.

I actually thought for the last 10mins of the half United finally started to ping the ball around a bit. As for the first 35mins, that's as poor as I've seen in a long time.

The usual suspects were at it again. Rio especially poor, but I'm just wondering why the distance between Rooney , Kagawa and our midfield is sooo big. We need to play further up the pitch as Rooney and Kagawa are aimlessly pressing a ball they never get, not when it's 6 vs 2 upfront.

When Ashley Young gets the ball, it's an automatic back pass, every time. Completely useless. The entire left side is useless, including Buttner.

Great reply on ITV puts things in perspective. SD player gets the ball on edge of their box. He looks up, another SD player is virtually on centre of pitch, no United player near him, he receives the ball, turns and runs right up to the United penalty area leaving Giggs trailing.

How did we get to this? Rio and Giggs are the combined age of at least 73 years old. Ashley Young cost 20 MILLION POUNDS. The four WORST players on that pitch in the firsth alf were all from United. How on earth is Buttner, Rio, Giggs, Young playing Champions league games for Manchester United? Simply stunning what we are slowly becoming. And Moyes is saying he'll be taking his time in January?
