City and Arsenal are struggling
We can do better. We need some seperation now.

And for the umpteenth time, what is this obsession of playing players out of their natural position
Three of our defenders are out of position

For a team that has no attacking playmaker in a midfield three, the full backs are NEEDED to provide width so the wide men can move infield to help

Why can't we freaking play Darmian as #2, and Blind as #3

people still wont get it..this is lvg for you..problem i see is we have no idea how to create..stoke city were on fire today..they got into the final third you see how they click..its the same mechanical routine with us..and its so easy for any decent to nullify..schneiderlin was way more mobile at southampton than he is here.so its clear its tactical and this in turn messesq up their flair..just accept this is lvg's way and it wont change.

Better near the end but not good enough as I said we've forgotten how to score Martial has faded ,Mata not great todayDepay looked better and the young fullback done well.
Good open game we have got to find a solution to this goal drought,it's not working golden opportunities last few games.

Poor....a bit better towards the end but not even good enough to beat a mediocre team at home.

Mata was off form...Lingard didnt do much....Depay looked good when he came on.
Martial did alright but hardly any service.

Good debut from Varela too.

More of the same by and large.

Who were the smart arse who said 3-0, and we would also be top of the table tonight?

Five 0-0's in the last nine matches.

Coming events cast their shadows
Our failure to get a central defender/ experienced striker or forward is coming to haunt us.
When Martial now, and Depay previously have been off form, there is no equal substitute
When Rojo and Jones inevitably get injured, ALL of our defence is malrotated in positions.

The decision from preseason to employ 2 deep midfielders, is paying it's dividends now
NONE of this was unforeseen...

But never mind, who cares if we don't know how to score.
We are laying the foundations for 2018
Those who take over from the boring LVG have absolutely nothing to do with their team's immediate success in the aftermath of his departure.

We'll endure
2018 can't come soon enough

18 chances 4 on target and the off targets were dangerous too

We had urgency and tried things, someties it did not come off but we tried and tried and tried

It's not that we did not try. Martial with his chances Smalling Lingard Mata Fellaini etc tec Bastian
We had all the chances to win the game again, so who's to fault?
LVG? I doubt it, now it's the players, there's nothing mroe you can do.

The first half was shitty, there I agree. Second half was all different.
A SHAME that Herrera must be injured, otherwise he would be in this game

I have no more words, because another 0-0 and a lot of chances but we don't score. what to do?

Actually one of our better performances even though it's not saying much. There was a lot more going forward today than in the last 6 games particularly in the first 20 minutes and the last 10 minutes. But if not for David De Gea, we'd have lost this game.

Again it's the same issues, lack of enough speed and directness in the final third, players out of position etc. How on earth Mata and Fellaini continut to get game time I will never know. They add nothing to the team going forward and take so much away from its potency. Mata takes about 5 years to make a decision on the ball by the time he has decided who to pass the ball to, West Ham already have 10 men behind the all. So slow, so fucking weak does fuck all in attack but yet continues to escape criticism for some reason. As for Fellaini, the less said the better.

About Herrera

At the beginning of the season, I was unperturbed, that Herrera was dropped.
I knew he will play himself into the team, because the exprimental set up by LVG will not succeed.

It's clear for veryone to see. I will think Perreiais the closest thing to him. Give him game time till Hererra returns. We are toothless in the latter third

Yes, we tried, but you need more clear cut chances to increase the probability of scoring.

It's no wonder two of our most recent 3 goals in 5 or 6 matches have been set up by Herrera in less than 20 minutes each ( of the two games he featured)

If we don`t qualify on Tuesday, I can`t see LVG staying beyond Christmas with this philosophy of 60%+ ball possession and 0-0 results.

As for players, Mata and Rooney(based on his previous games) both need to be benched for a long while. Fellaini needs to be sold. Lingard following path of Welbeck as it seems he can`t finish the fucking ball. Still early to be jumping to such conclusion but very troubling. Same can be said about McNair following the path of Evans...

Martial and Depay both came full of confidence but now the influence of Louie is showing...it supposed to be a good sign but I`m not sure this is indeed a case.

Something definitely needs to change and LVG has to be first in line...

Wayne has been banned again but I'd have loved to see him excuse this, wait, the fool doesn't excuse, he insults.
We suck, we suck balls, no, wait, united suck the arsehole. Fucking mediocre. Get rid of LVG, Giggs too, fella has no balls.
It's three games in a season where after 50 minutes I decide to forward the shit coz its so boring it's a waste of time. lVG out, I have said it since last year and I repeat it not. The sooner we are rid of him, the sooner we can interview the next pretender to the throne. I think it'll take 3-4 managers but the board are stalling on shit. I wonder what Barca or Madrid would do. The man said it himself, based on performance, he should be getting boos.

For those saying it's the players, not the manager, I beg to differ.
Who is responsible for the quality, depth and balance of our squad.
Who picks the team with 5 players out of positions they have spent majority of their career in.
Who dictates the playing style, substitution, game time tactical changes( if any)

The buck stops with LVG
It's amazing we are only three points off top.
I'm glad the Old Trafford crowd are not waiting for a disaster before making their true feelings known.
I think the most unfettered praise you will get anywhere in the world for LVG is ROM now....

Its clear lvg and the team are losing it now. No confidence that even our defence is looking shabby sometimes. Wont blame lvg on todays draw but our philosophy has to chance. What frustrates more than our managers philosophy is some of our players performance. Like let us observe Mata, a player of his calibre is not even able to make one correct decision. I wonder with al this blog , has he lost his ambition to win trophies. Not saying he is not trying but it seems he is very contended with his life. Then I look at Darmian, not one good cross. Seriously fizzled out big time. Even Carrick, a plyer with his experience commits silly and needless foul. We should have won today, not even hitting on target is unacceptable.

As for lvg, time is running out for him. Get knocked out in champions league and then drop more points, we may well be off top 4 by december end. Most of the blames lies with him and so far he is not looking like correcting those mistakes. My gut feeling is he has become clueless now. HE doesnt know what to change as even our forwards look hardly inspiring.

is true we did not win but honestly we really increased the tempo of the game especially the final 15mins or thereabouts. If we continue the like this I know the goals will soon start flowing. But is obvious this team really need a world class finisher.

Today was a disaster but players are equally to blame for draw. 4 clear cut chances went begging. LVG has no clue. He doesn't even know how to galvanise his troops. He has lost half my support now. But if he fucks up the CL game he should be sacked ASAP. Only silver lining was Varela's debut.

There is no "unfetter praise" for lvg if one says players like Mata have to do more. Yes lvg is at fault but if you cant hit shots on target after getting 15 attempts to shhot then you have to look beyond the manager. Its really convenient to put blame on one entity but tell me whats the point if a player like Mata, rooney or Carrick need motivation to perform well.

MATA did not make one correct decision and who can we blame that on, darmian cant cross one good ball. Martial cant hit one shot on target, Fellaini is just standing like a one huge lamp. Yes point can be made, its the manager who select them but ultimately its the 11 players playing.

City lost today, what more of a motivation could it be for the boys to win and overtake them. I saw more from a 22 years old Lingard than what I saw from a mata or carrick. Let us be objective also for a second, players need to take their chances and so far we are not taking.

Then he takes Sweinsteiger despite him being excellent instead of Fellaini who was woeful to play as a central midfielder.

The team improved when Lingard and Depay were wide, Mata went through the middle behind Martial. It's too little too late.

The managers decision making is shocking and outlook on football is not compatible with Manchester United

#LVGout.

Trouble is you can blame the players, but players draw their confidence from the manager too. Finding it hard to keep defending him to be honest. I've given enough Time for all new players to settle in, find best formation etc etc and it should be falling into place about now. But it isn't and more worrying is the Lvg appears to have few master strokes up his sleeve in either substitutions or formation tweaks.

like someone above said too, we lose jones or rojo and the entire defense gets shifted around. But again injuries aren't a managers fault, but not planning for them in ultra physical league is.

So like rohit my glasses are becoming less rose-tinted. But if the utd board already know who their next manager is and Lvg is the stop gap who's truly building for the next manager then there's not a lot we can do because the board have traded results for stability. We've just got to lap it up cos there's a serious shortage of utd worthy managers out there at present....
