I can't believe Ozil is playing in the premiere league and it's not for us.
Paulinho, Ericksen would have been available cheap alternatives we were chasing shadows and mission impossibles, and then didn't deem Ozil needed in our squad? Joke.

Brace yourself for a long season fellas.. we've heard the doom and gloom before, but SAF was able to drag us through the impossible. This time we'll be punished.

Much has been said about Ed Woodward.Surely Manchester United Cannot be undone by a Single person.Surely CEO's mistakes in this window will not make the team worse than they were.United are better than that.Give the Club a little credit. It's the least they deserve after providing us with moments we can take to our graves one day.We have the same squad from last year.Although our rivals have arguably strengthened but one thing is for certain United will not go down without a fight.End of this season we may not have the trophies but but that hardly makes us the club that some fans are apparently making us.Moyes himself said United will be there or thereabouts with or without addition. So the least we can do is stand by the Manager, and the players.

Underwhelmed with Fellaini, but the bigger issue is why the board allowed both the manager and the Chief Executive to leave in the summer. That is shocking succession planning and we are now seeing some of the impact of that in action, i.e. the apparent total incompetence and bungling in the transfer market. None of us really know what went on but spending a summer chasing shadows and then panicking at the end is a sign of a club on the back foot, not champions. From the Woodward 'urgent' transfer business fiasco to the succession of failed bids we have just been hopeless. Woodward has a lot of ground to make up if he is to be seen as anything other than a muppet, I hope he is a quick learner. Contrao on loan too - don't care how good he is, why are we loaning players, we are United ffs.

Coentrao is a fantastic player, but if it's a loan without a view for a permanent then why do a deal like that?

@wakey
IF Moyes wants Herrera we can keep talking to them and get a deal done for January.

The title will be decided by that time.
Damage will have to be fixed next summer.

The problem is if we had paid £23mill for Fellani while the Cesc deal was a still seemingly a possibility what would have happened if the Cesc deal had gone ahead. We would have had to bench one of our new signings when they would have been signing surely to be starters. A starter and one for the future makes sense, two established players who would want to be starting makes less sense

Nothing wrong with moyes, always needed time in my opinion but his job isn't helped by cunts like ED, he's not helped moyes at all. What makes some think bilbao will entertain anything in january? It's done and dusted. I pity herrera, he'll get tons of abuse from the basque fans.

Baines look like a bad beatles impersonator. What a twat and he's a typical overhyped shit english player too.

If we'd wasted money on him to replace Evra i would have lost all faith. Considering they are pretty much the same age.

It may not be official until 2pm tomorrow as there may be stock market requirements to be met

@midfield-man

Herrara was unlikely to make any real difference this season anyway. Fellani is a more useful for this season than many of the foreign based players such as herrera that people have been discussing

27.5 mil for that afro mug! could of bought strootman in for half the price. it's that woodward who doesnt know fuck all about the transfer market, fucking banker. cunt wants 2013 players for 2003 prices and now has to pay the price by paying 27.5 mill for a player whos worth about 16 mil at a push. what a waste of time. not saying we need like a super star but if he pulled his finger out at the beginning of july we could of had two top class young players for under 30 mill. still love united though no matter what.

"We need a ducking creative midfielder not a bastard left back on loan"

Erm Kagawa is surely a creative midfielder. Carrick is also fairly creative. Anderson is hardly a defensive midfielder as he likes to pick up the ball and drive and attempt defence splitting passes. Then we have Adnan for the future, Powell should hopefully come back better prepared and he is creative too

The Coentrao deal could be a very useful. Did not see that coming. We needed decent competition for Evra. Maybe he can also be used as a left winger.

Not to mention while Evra may be able to play 50 games a season he isnt getting any younger so some cover is very useful

There is a reason why Moyes was chosen instead of the European Stalwarts. To continue in the tradition of Manchester United. He will have his say in the footballing side. But the ethos on which this club was built will be the same.

enzo133 says: not so sure I will mate
I was close to saying fuck it this year after 24years on the trot.
But I believed the simply could not take the piss again this year.

I loved going to the games more than anything because it was just so fucking exciting and fast and furious and crazy but the last 4 years it has honestly been so fucking stale and boring more often than not.

Woodward managed to secure a half dozen more ridiculous sponsorship deals for diesel engines and Bank of Namibia Visa cards and a record THIRD tyre company - All announced by the club with great pride and fanfare - "Bringing United closer to our African fans who need Visa cards" - We also have a wonderful Aeroflot deal and replaced Hublot for Bulova on the match day clock.

.................oh, and we bought a fucking player from Everton.

I couldnt give a shit anymore, its a club for dickheads like Hot Potato to adore whilst the Glazers rape it and cover it in shit stickers and logos.

We dont play like United anymore and we really DONT give youth a chance whatever bullshit they say... Just ask Paul Pogba........................or for that matter just ask Ryan Giggs next match day.

oooh i can see some squirming over Coentrao.Oh the irony, lol. he was mocked off here months ago.
But seriously i'm not quite sure what to make of it. It gives us some real cover in that area though. Evras the only LB we got in the ranks. Questions marks over Fabio are to big to ignore.
Is Fellaini finally a United player ?

Seriously grow up.

And using Pogba as proof we don't give youth a chance is bullshit. Pogba had the chance to earn his place in the first team by performing well in the reserves and he spent the first half of that season playing below par. He also could have signed a new deal that summer but instead had his agent out looking at other clubs so if he claims he wasn't getting a chance thats bullshit as his agent was already shopping him around before the season had started

Fuck me - we have to go away to play City soon - That is going to be fucking ugly if the Liverpool game was anything to go by. They are so much stronger than last year and made some great signings early on.

How the fuck did the Club end up being the fucking "New City" in Manchester.
This is exactly how those cunts were before the won the Lottery - getting Kaka tattoos then finding out he wasn`t coming after all.

I feel like fucking crying - and for all you who dont live in Manchester you cant understand what its like having to listen to City fans take the fucking piss and have nothing to come back at them with this time.
Shut it........................we got...........................Felaini from Everton so you`ll see when we come to the Emptihad that we are unplayable now that he has joined.

Are you for real ? I watched Pogba plenty at Moss Lane and he was easy the best player on the pitch.
He was promised football by Fergie who lied to him apparentlyt and then given five minutes and made to watch Giggs play in midfield instead.
They then offered him a fucking joke contract and he rightly thought fuck this low-balling cheap bastard club Im off. Good luck and I dont blame him.
Leaving for Italy was definitely a big mistake the way that is turning out for him LOL

CC ... you definately need to take a break from OT and football if you feel that City have bragging rights over us cause they bought more players!!

Biggest supported club in the world. (Estimated 350m people say they support MUFC) Top capacity stadium and match day revenue. Market cap nearly $3B (less than 15% debt) History, romance, trophies .......... and you want to lower yourself to compete on their level?

Dave Mack - Yes mate all lots of fans who are once again hearing nothing but fucking bad news and disappointment coming from the club.

We are getting weaker and weaker you just dont see it. City, like it or not, are getting stronger and stronger.
The fact is we are just very fucking boring these days and so very very far away from ever winning a CL again thats for sure.

So what if a Zillion fans pay to watch United ? None of that money gets spent on superstars so what the fuck do I care ? No point being massive if you dont spend any of the fucking revenue on entertaining the fans and rewarding them by using money for something other than debts and dividends.

Your the idiot who is here ranting like a mad man with your crazy conspiracy theories. If he was playing well enough in the reserves he would have got a chance just like Macheda did when he was brought into the squad for the Villa game.

And he was hardly offered peanuts. Reports were that we offered something around £20k a week and at the time the reports were that Juve offered €1mill a year. That works out at around £18k a week. Mind you reports now state he is on €600k a year so thats just under £10k a week
