They'll find somethin no doubt.... Gutted that chicha couldn't complete his hat trick (I sound so spoiled lol), especially considering the rough ride he's had of late both for his country and in the media, but extremely pleased we're thru to the next round and in such style!

Decent performance against mediocre opposition. Buttner and Young the chief possession wasters but happy with the rest, decent debut from Zaha.

Good win, nothing more to say.

Looking at the post-match interview from the Arse-Chelsea game, Mata seems like are really nice guy and he's bloody good at football. What I wouldn't give for him in our team.

Can't comment on individual performances cause I'm working and could only look in intermittently but happy with that outcome. Don't usually care too much for this cup but the squad can always use the extra games, and with chelsea gone through as well and City likely to go through tomorrow, could get a decent final or semi final tie out of it maybe.

Why oh why can't United play Norwich each weekend? How awful was Norwich? Chasing ghosts and never did look like overrunning the CM. Good on Jones/Cleverley holding their own.

So what? Premier league team, we bossed them and scored 4 goals, 3 of which were from open play

Jones is brilliant in defence but as we can see he does add pace to the midfield that fellaini and carrick dont give as the defensive midfielder in the pairing but Carrick is brilliant but as he is getting older Jones can takeover and give brilliant performances in the midfield.A fast midfield is good as you can track down attackers when you are caught high up the pitch

Much better. Not the best performance, but this is what Utd should be doing more often - beating mediocre teams by 3 or 4 goals. Chuffed for Chicharito and Januzaj!

Boldness pays off DM...Boldness pays off. I am glad the gaffer is beginning to shed that Everton limited play mentality. I didn't watch any of the action (at work) but I hope Moyes was all smiles....he deserves praise for correcting his philosophy.

Congrats all around!! And I have most delighted to hear AJ was playing centrally, Hernandez finally given a trot in the side, along with our other promising youngster Zaha.

And we did not concede...Glad to see the turnaround taking foot hold. I will watch the highlights when I get back. Cheers to you all.

Tope99 so jones is suddenly carrick's heir because he scored a nice goal against norwich? He did ok today, but top class midfielder? no way. Unless we want another oshea we should let the kid make his mistakes in cb, learn and become the top class defender he is meant to be.

Carrick's heir? Forget Carrick, that goal was Zidanesque. I think Moyes has uncovered the heir to Zizou!

Whilst Norwich weren't a top team, neither were West Brom. It was good to see Jones instead of Carrick. He puts himself abut and keeps the game moving. Message to Santa - No more Carrick or Giggs in midfield please.

This is the shit ABUs peddle that it was a poor Norwich side lolol FFS we made Nine yes 9 changes and played a CB in midfield a debutant, a reserve keeper, an 18 year old kid, Ashley Fecking Young And our 3rd choice striker but fuck it we also played a left back that can't defend as well. You'd think we started with our strongest team lolol there really is no helping the Abu twats that post to themselves on here.

"Tom Cleverley is taken off to be replaced by Anderson. Hopefully he'll be able to last the remainder of the game without tiring out." - haha. Well he did.

It was a really fun game to watch and good to see some of the young players. Januzaj looks best behind the striker and given freedom to roam. Only 18. Eat your heart out Oscar.

Norwich didn't look the same after their player was injured and it would have been interesting if they gave us more of a game.

One thing we do have is some wonderful young players. I thought Zaha did really well, he played crosses and passes in the final third that created chances and beat a man and Young did better as the night went on.

Jones was enthusiastic good goal, but I still see him as a CD long term. Watching Cleverly, I am beginning to thing that maybe the role for him is the Makalele role. His is getting better defensively he does neat short passes, maybe he needs to model his game on that.

@ GIngerprince - Ozil is still a top player mate, would have loved him at United, but I think Flamini is a key lynchpin for Arsenal. Chelsea rolling on. What ridiculous MF depth.

@NBI Red Moyesy

He is one of my favourite player mate. We have Kagawa, Rooney and Adnan now to play at his position. He is World Class, but not the World Class player that we need right now. Right now we need a Gundogan type of player. Don't agree with people saying we should sign all the World Class player that available. We are not Real Madrid. We sign player to improve our team, not to stop the growth of our younger player.

if we signed Ozil, we might not see Kagawa and Januzaj playing. Ozil would have been a great addition if we lost Rooney, but fortunately for us Rooney stayed. So let's just move on. Stop wanking over other team players and managers and start suppoting our own.

@ Gingerprince - Yup - with Januzaj's emergence we are covered in attacking mid / second striker. I prefer him or Kagawa there. Rooney I would put in MF, left of attack, or lead striker. You really need that player who can spot runs and create chances. Right now Fabregas and Ozil do that better than anyone in the world but hopefully our young players can challenge that.

This is a Zaha Watch Report - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2479145/Wilfried-Zaha-watch--Manchester-Uniteds-15m-man-Norwich-City.html

Great result and great performance. That boy Adnan is coming along nicely. Young even had a good game. Can prove to be a useful squad player (or not). Also good to see Jones get a run out in midfield. If we don't make any Midfield signings then we'll need someone to step in. Hernandez doing his best to make sure he isn't too far from DM plans, good stuff, really good stuff from him.
