Real bought Kroos, maybe it s time to try to get modric. We have to try...and dont get it why we are not looking for Reus

Not a great performance by any stretch, we were second best for most of the 1st half, up until Rooneys great goal and then Mata scored another great goal and then got a pen, 2nd half was disjointed with all the subs, poor passing, given the ball away cheaply in tough conditions allowed Roma back into the game but its 2 wins in a row so cant complain. The biggest plus for me is 2 games in and Rooney has started but not been captain, anyone but him for the armband

Cavani to Juventus. Vidal to United.
Di Maria to PSG.

Hummels to United. Kagawa to Dortmund.

Nani to Arsenal. Varmaleen to United.

Felliani, Chicarito, Anderson to go.

Cuadrado and Blind to United as 1st choice wing backs. Both flanks sorted.

This makes sense!

From what i have deduced so far from the transfer rumours, di maria cavani and vidal will be moving be the season kicks off, their destination is the only thing in doubt.

@John

Yes john youre correct, LVG is going to spend £30million on a player and bring in a lesser quality player Blind and play him instead lol

@Tommy

Shaw price tag is much to do with his potential and the market driven these days for talented English lads. Shaw is very good but he is not going to start every single match and we for sure need a back up in left wing back position. Also he hasn't been tested week in week out as wing back. He is still very young.

Blind is very versatile. He can play centre back, CDM and left wing back. So Shaw and Blind will fight for that left wing spot "if" Blind is signed.

I am not getting into silly debate who should start as it will be eventually shown in actual match day performances. Price tag has nothing to do with who is going to start. LVG approved his signing as he was already on transfer list from moyes time and happened to perfectly fit LVG profile for left wing back.

There will be two good players at every position and the squad size will be of 23 sth smaller than last season. Blind is more experienced and versatile than Shaw. However, it is upto them.

Of course, Blind has to arrive first. :)

In the above link, interview of our manager with skysports, manager clearly urges Woodward to make moves interms of signings and prove the biggest club in the world tag.

Of course, he doesn't say it directly but you have to be dumbass not to understand it the meaning of what he is saying.

Some quotes from above video:

" now-a-days a lot of clubs has budget to compete....soooooo......we have to see if the selection/squad is in balance and how we can improve the selection/squad....."

Now comes the quote from LVG only fools will not understand that he is openly urging Glazers and Woodward to wrap up transfer targets ASAP if you are fucking biggest club in the world as you fuckers think you are. Quote from "The father of MODERN football" aka LVG:

"........AND NOT ONLY BY TRAINING SESSIONS BUT ALSO BY TRANSFERS BECAUSE ALL THE OTHER CLUBS ARE DOING THE SAME......"

This means either we are close to announcements of some big name signings or it is a clear message to owners and esp Woodward to make moves as LVG most likely is getting frustrated why only his "approved" signings have been signed so far; the targets from last summer.

So, all in all, we will make signings for sure before the window closes because Glazers are in no position to risk themselves being in public spat with their own outspoken manager.

LVG make no mistake is not ferguson or moyes to act the script of Glazers. Of Course, Glazers are the owners but in all likelyhood they seem to have promised signings/budget to LVG for players he desires.

"I have to assess what I have got first in next 3 or 4 weeks" as LVG says is just a smokescreen for Woodward to do his job behind the scene calmly. That's all it is.

We need 3 big name signings atleast.

You can keep your deluded approach of United way all you like but when you have to face James Rodriguez, Bale, Ronaldo as opponents managed by Ancelloti type manager then you realize, it's not old good time for patience to make club an academy. Financially it's impossible. Then you have got 5 or 6 teams in league itself to compete for top 4.

LVG knows it. I think in above video he made it clear. It is either he is paving the way for the announcement of imminent big name signings in near future in contrary to some weeks he demanded to assess as a smokescreen in his earlier interviews. OR he is urging the money men at the club.
