No miracle today I suppose, city 1-0 up. Anyone expecting it is just as deluded as LVG is.

There has now been an announcement at Old Trafford. The match has been called off on police advice. That's confirmed now.

That's crazy this packages thing. Hope all is safe. Pretty sure with the cameras all around the stadium they should be able to see a recording.

So you are telling me EXPECTING a miracle is not being deluded? We had all season to qualify for CL and even a perfect chance with just 2 games to go and bottled it. Hope dies last but to expect it, now that`s being deluded in my book.

Better safe than sorry, I`m with the police on this one. Hope everyone is ok. Now let`s hope for a miracle :) Cmon Swansea!!!

why would it have been a miracle Swansea were 7th in the form guide and had won 4 in a row at home,City had drawn 2 and lost 1 of their last 4 away,so stop talking stupid about miracles

RedOne May 15, 2016
don`t know who is talking stupid here...they have nothing to play for and if you are watching the game, you`ll know what I`m talking about.

Master of distractions.
If it's not injuries, its the referee vs Leicester, or the absence of Fellaini vs West Ham. Now what? The Swansea manager and the referee?

When will you ever ACCEPT that our manager and/or team are not good enough, and SAY SO.

37 + games. Still making excuses !!!

jesus the manager sat out key players the fucking goalie his making his debut,by your logic why did they bother to win there last 4 home games and their last 2 away, been one of the hottest teams in the league with having nothing to play for

TywinnLannister May 15, 2016
Should have been 8-0

Well Yusuf wanted some excitement at Old Trafford, but that was taking things a tad far.

Everyone is safely out of the ground now.

If city win, who will be in charge of United's final (and pointless) game of the season I wonder ?

how is stating facts a distraction? and i never used the absence of Fellaini for any reason so you clearly never read my comments correctly.I said with Fellaini missing and Rojo playing poorly leading up to the West Ham game Jones would've been a better option at CH with Blind at LB

Keep hope alive!

That`s just the thing. You and I and plenty of fans know Jones would have been a better option but the one person, who should know this, has overlooked it because he knows better!!!

lol...1-1. Perhaps the one up there has a weird sense of humor :)

Swansea have been one of the hottest teams in the league, yet with a tournament a month away, the manager decides to rest key players including the goalie last game of the season,i seriously cannot be the only one who has a problem with the managers decision

You are the only one.
They are giving City a game.
You are the one with a ready made excuse, regardless of what's actually going on...

what the real funny thing about this is i never wanted LVG in the first place and i hate possession football, yet just because i don't abuse LVG and blame him for everything,i'm a fan, fuck me

Manny

ofc you are not the only one but to blame others for our own doings is living in denail. We shouldn`t even be talking about this, we had 37 games to qualify.

A bomb disposal team has just arrived at Old Trafford.

We have been piss poor this season, but if Swansea could grab a winner, it would be good to see city sweat until our final game

lol, fact is that we should have already qualified for CL by now and there would be no strange decision by a 3rd party manager. Fact is LVG and his team have failed and the only thing that is strange about it is cunt Louie still being our manager.

Why the fuck are people on here bitching about the Swansea boss dropping his goalie?!. Hello.......Stop making excuses for a team and manager who have been pitiful all season. ALL blame for our woeful predicament rests at our door completely. If the Swansea manager choose to play the mascot we're in no position to bitch. When we were in Europe we di what we've done all season and played with no fucking clue or heart.

One consolation of us finishing outside of the CL places, That fuck Mourinho won't be interested now. Mind you, no one else will for a club that in 3 or 4 years with each spectacularly embarrassing mis-step of choices in manager and player recruitment has got zero prospects of challenging for years to come.

Good riddance to this misery of a season. Let's hope we begin again in August with a change of manager, whoever we can still attract, and minus 8 or 9 players who have regularly held down starting places in the first 11 these last few seasons..........

but that has no relevance to the Swansea's manager decision making no sense, the Euros have fuck all to do with Swansea, there a month away, there's friendlies in between,so he rests his starting goalie and other key players?

Greater Manchester Police Statement :

"Greater Manchester Police is working with staff at Manchester United to investigate a suspicious item that has been found at the Old Trafford stadium. "Assistant Chief Constable John O’Hare said: 'We are doing everything we can to investigate this item as quickly as possible, however our priority is obviously to ensure the safety of everyone in the stadium and surrounding area. As a result, today’s game has been abandoned and a controlled evacuation of the stadium has now taken place. "'We are awaiting the imminent arrival of military colleagues to come and support us and establish what exactly we are dealing with. "'We don’t make these decisions lightly and we have done this today to ensure the safety of all those attending. I am thankful for everyone’s support and assistance and we will continue to provide updates on this matter as soon as they become available.'”

Truth is , neither City or United deserve to play in the Champions League next year (4th place), but one has been worse than the other.

For those non Muppets, aka straw clutchers, it's not mathematically over.

We can still score tonnes of goals against Bournemouth (who have nothing to play for :) and if we get a fair referee.....

Shin,

Not if we win our game in hand, or even draw.

They can get a maximum of 63 points, which we have now.

If city fail to win we have to win 19-0 to finish above them .

West Ham can only finish above us if we lose and they win today .

West Ham are now 2-1 down, so we are above them as I type
