Thank god for Macheda again. Still need to get our act together. 6 more wins should do it. Surprised Evans and Berbatov played today!

StenhousemuirRed oh ok.The minute i posted it i understood that it didn't make sense. When i get excited my English goes out the window.Still haven't seen the Scholesy goal.Overall was this an improvement in terms of ball possesion and composure?I am not asking about the defence because i see that until Rio returns we will have problems.

I read in the tabloids this week we are falling apart and we can't keep on relying on 17 year olds. The performance was'nt great but the result was.
Playing against a side away from home who actually played two decent, first choice forwards was a good result. 3 points.

@John: I have been very tense i admit. For everyone who thought that singling out Rafa right now was petty,i apologise.

Scholes had a mixed game, hit some good shots, scored a good glancing header, but he also gave the ball away in dangerous positions a few times. Jury still out

Marq i think that Fletch will start on Wednesday won't he?Look at how many fresh legs we will have for that one:VDS,Rio,Evra,Ronaldo,Fletcher and Rooney(he never tires).Berba and Ando are back quicker than expected and Rafael and Brown are due to come back in the next 2 weeks.Things are looking up.Brace yourselves for the next 2 games. The quintuple talk will start again.

Always gonna be a tough fixture today, just relieved to get the 3 points after the vermins expected win earlier on. Get that boy involved in Porto on Wednesday I reckon. He's buzzing right now.

I think Scott put it best with...well thank FUCK for that!!

Not a good performance by any stretch of the imagination. Leave Berba on the bench PLEASE against Porto. I've lost patience with him. He's a striker that doesn't actually take any "strikes". Rooney was playing out wide left, by no means his best position, and he still managed to get multiple shots in. Berba? I counted one, a lazy half assed effort that went about 40 yards over the bar when he was teed up inside their f'ing box.

And I know this isn't RedRants, but I'm f'ing frustrated....

Yeah it might have been a mistake by Foster to come out for that cross, but where was Neville to close down the cross? (and what the hell was that dive?? ronaldo would have been embarrassed by that one) And why didn't Evans jump and head the ball away? And why did Park go in half assed and let himself get megged in the build up?

Not enough commitment from the lads if you ask me. Only Rooney (and hell, Kiko) look like they give a F and actually care about winning the league. The rest look like they can walk through it giving 50% effort and expect teams to roll over for us.

Drew Vader i think to a degree we are still carrying the same aura of invicibility we did in the last 3 months.Maybe it's because of the many trophies we have won,who knows?I will opt for a positive approach.Remember the Stoke game away?Surely we didn't play much better then but we scraped for the win and look what that started doing for the club. The Stoke and Boro scrapes put us on track and the Chelsea rout gave us the belief. If we get a big result on Wednesday it might give the players the belief again.

This was a great result, winning is all that matters at this point.. We just have to win one game at a time.. We showed more passion than against Porto but still there is much more to show. Evans, GNeville, Carrick, O´Shea need to be meaner in the defence.. Sunderland had a lot of chances but they only got one free kick in the first half, we were giving them way too much time on the ball.

We got the win thats what mattered... Vidic is defo missing Rio..

Berba did nowt for me again...Scholesy was better...

Looks like Kiko knows where the onion bag is... long may it continue....

Can i ask you all... coz it pisses me off, that Wazza has to play out on the left to compensate Berba in the team...

Costa's mate... glad your ok pal... i thought it was gonna be one of those days again pal lol.

FailsworthDevil, everything is ok,lol.Kiko made sure of that. The truth is that Berba should not have been thrown into the firing line today. And i think that in a game as fierce as Wednesday's he has to sit on the bench.I said it before the game,Wazza's talent will let him play anywhere but the man was born to play in the middle.I think that the game might have been wrapped up in an easier fashion if we started with Nani instead of Berba ans Rooney and Tevez together up front.
