Louis Saha’s move to Everton has cleared after the French striker passed a medical today. Everton will initally pay nothing for the player, with the Merseyside club stumping up cash based on appearances.

The two-year deal is great news for the player, who has struggled to stay fit for United in the season gone, although I won’t hold my breath on us gaining much dosh from the deal. Both his knees are gone and if he gets 20 games for Everton this season I will be very surprised.

However, the pressure is now on United, with our only out-and-out striker being 20-year-old Frazier Campbell, who Hull City have bid £7 million for.
