– After claiming he wanted to spend the rest of his career at Manchester United, Carlos Tevez left the club whose badge he used to kiss to join Manchester City.
– Despite being given the captaincy at City, Tevez handed in a transfer request less than 18 months at the club.
– After repeatedly claiming he was unhappy because he was so far away from his family, City gave him time off to visit them. Instead, he went on holidays to Tenerife with his girlfriend and has been repeatedly linked to Spanish/Italian clubs even further away from his family.
– In what should be the final nail in his Mancunian coffin, Tevez launched a scathing attack on the city. “The weather, everything. It has nothing. I’m never going back to Manchester, not even on holiday, not for anything.”
So what do the Manchester Evening News do? Launch a petition to keep the Argie troll in the city. Embarrassingly small time with no sense of Mancunian pride whatsoever. Let the fucker go!
