Juan Mata has revealed he hopes that Javier Hernandez stays at Manchester United in the 2015-16 season. The Mexican spent last year on loan to Real Madrid, with the striker claiming he was made to feel “unimportant” there.
Real Madrid chose not to sign Chicharito on a permanent basis so, as it stands, he’s still a United player. Rumours have linked him with a move away from the club but Mata, speaking to journalists in Mexico, has said he wants Chicharito to stay with us.
Chicharito still belongs to Manchester United and selfishly I’d like him to be with us. He has scored goals in every team he has played in and is a very smart striker. Chicharito is a great friend. When I arrived to Manchester he behaved great with me. He is a great person and a great professional. I’ve been lucky enough to share a dressing room with Chicharito, whom I admire.
