Despite representatives from Galatasaray claiming that Marouane Fellaini was close to joining the Turkish side, Jose Mourinho has ruled out the transfer.
It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than Marouane. He is too important to me. No chance.
Mourinho made these comments following United’s 3-0 win over Valerenga today, in which Fellaini scored.
Nemanja Matic is set to sign for United in the coming days, but not as a replacement for Fellaini as fans thought.
“He wants to come,” Mourinho said when asked about Matic. “We have a chance.”
Matic was pictured in a United training top earlier today.
