David Moyes is the man who will take over from Sir Alex Ferguson, who announced his retirement earlier today, according to sources close to the club and all the broadsheets.

Set to be confirmed soon, despite Sky Sports News reporting that Everton have not heard from Manchester United.

Moyes is apparently United’s first choice for replacing Ferguson, with the club apparently agreeing with Sir Bobby Charlton’s opinion that Jose Mourinho doesn’t have the right characteristics to manage United.
