After Rio Ferdinand fucked up massively, allowing City back in to the game seconds before injury time was announced, I was as angry as I was totally gutted. Then to look up and see Shay Given turn to the Stretford End, shaking his fists and jumping up and down, was infuriating. The “don’t incite the crowd” memo obviously hadn’t made it’s way around the City dressing-room, following Adebayor’s celebration last weekend which will probably earn him a two match ban, with Given doing everything he could to get our fans going. I can only imagine what he was shouting at them but it certainly brought about a livid reaction. Cheeky fucking bastard.

Obviously checking Given’s reaction to Owen’s goal wasn’t high on my list of priorities at the time, as I was far more concerned with hugging everyone in grabbing distance and bashing the shit out of my shins on the seats in front, but I really can’t wait to see it on MOTD2.

From Newcastle to City and still a fucking loser.
