Manchester United have reportedly offered £6.7m for the highly rated Brazilian Douglas Costa but it looks as though that won’t be enough.
The 18-year-old’s agent, Cesar Bottega, reckons that the Gremio president is looking for a fee in the region of £20m.
“I don’t believe that they will reach this figure,” Bottega told Porto Alegre newspaper Zero Hora. “Right now, an offer might come in at a maximum of £6.7million. But this would not be enough for president Duda Kroeff.”
