Manchester City bombed out of the FA Cup earlier this evening, after losing 2-1 away to Sheffield United. Bryan Robson was critical of his team following their defeat to rivals Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, leading fans to be rather more critical off him. On the radio before the FA Cup game today, several Sheffield United fans were calling for Robson’s job.
However, Robson’s side have put themselves through in to the 5th Round after seeing off the bitters. Sturridge’s brilliantly finished goal was not enough to keep City in the game, who were lucky to finish just one goal behind by the time of the final.
