Reports in Spain today claim that it is a question of when, rather than if, Pedro will become a Manchester United player. Marca claims that United have put in a bid of £17.5m for Pedro, which has been rejected, but an offer of £20m will be enough to seal the deal.
Barcelona are hoping to keep hold of Pedro until after the European Super Cup on 11th August when they face Sevilla, while Van Gaal would obviously rather have the deal done before then, with our Premier League season kicking off on the 8th against Tottenham Hotspur.
