Michael Owen has today confirmed that if he plays against Liverpool tomorrow and scores, he will celebrate.
“I will certainly celebrate, that’s not a question,” said Owen. “Let’s hope I have that problem, that I get a chance and that I put it away. I’m not really a fan of players going to their old teams and not celebrating. Of course they want to score – they wouldn’t have put the ball in the back of the net in the first place if they didn’t want to score, so why not celebrate with your team-mates?”
